The People: About the Leadership
Jenny White serves as Executive Director of Art House Dallas as well as a board member for Art House America. Before moving back to the great state of Texas in 2010, Jenny was Executive Director of the Wedgwood Circle Institute 501(c)(3). Prior to venturing into the arts and entertainment space, Jenny worked in the White House from 2006-2008 as Senior Trip Coordinator in the Office of Presidential Advance and as Trip Coordinator of the First Lady’s Office of Advance. Jenny is a native Texan and graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and English. Jenny is passionate about connecting people and equipping them to utilize their God given creativity for the common good. When she isn't developing new ideas for Art House, Jenny enjoys being part of an Anglican church plant (All Saints Dallas), cooking, cycling, writing about life, taking Instagram photos, finding new music, and all things Italian.
Marissa Miller serves as the Programs Director for Art House Dallas at Munger Place developing events and spiritual resources for visual and performing artists. Marissa previously worked with developing artists as a Marketing Rep for Sony Music’s College Department. She has also worked for Recording Academy planning events for GRAMMY U™ members in North Texas. She graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Marissa is an expert at old arcade games and will easily top your high score in Galaga.
Justin Nygren serves as Renovations Project Manager for Art House Dallas’ future facility at Munger Place. His roles range from Vision Communicator to Dot Connector as he facilitates the building renovation from concept to reality. Justin has served in ministry since 1992 and has been active in the Dallas arts community since 2002. His primary passion is the cultivation of the artists around him and he brings a unique blend of experience to the team with his background in home renovation and Auto-CAD illustration. As co-founder of ArtLoveMagic, he helped create a volunteer-based arts organization, was a finalist in the 2011 Dallas Observer Mastermind Awards and has helped shape the culture of live art performance in Dallas. Justin will also serve Art House Dallas in the areas of program development and community connections. He has managed projects and consulted with Dallas Area Rapid Transit, SMU Perkins School of Theology, Chase Oaks Church in Plano and others. He and his wife Kelly (who is a rock star in her own right) have been married for 12 years. Their two children can manipulate reality with mind bending ninja powers.
Andrew Young serves as Web Intern for Art House Dallas. Andrew graduated from Texas Christian University with two separate degrees in News/Editorial Journalism and History. He loves cycling and surfing, reading philosophy, history and theology, and is an active writer, musician and photographer. Andrew is passionate about the power of community and enjoys using his diverse background to work for the common good with fellow artists.
Courtney Cross serves Art House Dallas as an intern focused on foundations and grant-writing. She currently studies Sociology and Women’s and Gender Studies at Southern Methodist University. Courtney gladly brought her background and skills in administration, event planning and research to the Art House Dallas team, and she hopes to work for a nonprofit that loves people and is a positive presence in the community after she graduates. Courtney spends her spare time finding new music and buying anything cute that comes in the color grey. If you are what you eat, then Courtney is a delicious chai latte.
Jennifer Fiedler serves as Events and Marketing Intern for Art House Dallas. Jennifer is a senior at Dallas Baptist University, and is graduating this May with a Bachelor’s in Communication and Minor in Music Business. Jennifer loves music, plays, performing, being physically active, and writing. She is actively pursing a career in country music with her duet Smithfield. Jennifer is passionate about how Art House provides opportunities for local artists to grow in their art and faith, have a place for community, and utilize their gifts and talents with other creatives.
As a serial entrepreneur and a recognized voice on the future of online media, Trey Bowles has a proven success in profitable Internet marketing and entertainment-based businesses. With an expertise in strategy, operations, and marketing Bowles has provided immeasurable leadership and strategic insight for building market-leading businesses in the new media, entertainment and technology marketplaces. Bowles is also Co-Founder and CEO of Trivate Entertainment, a multi-faceted media group seeking to create, promote, and distribute positive content in the entertainment marketplace. Trivate offers services through marketing, artist management and event planning. Working on projects including music, film and TV, Trey and his partners at Trivate, are focused on finding ways to bring positive quality entertainment to people around the world.
Dallas Creative Council, Chair
Brad Reeves, Dallas Creative Council, ChairBrad Reeves, an Art House America board member, directs the Art House Dallas Creative Council and is Chief Enthusiast for Art House Dallas at Munger Place. Brad previously served as the Executive Vice President of People for Drive Financial Services, Dallas, TX. He was also responsible for managing the Drive brand including market research, advertising, public relations, and corporate communications. Having successfully grown the business to over 800 associates and a portfolio in excess of $2 billion, he and his partners completed the sale of DFS to Bunco Santander in December of 2006. Brad now manages BCR Capital LLC, a family investments firm. Brad lives in Dallas with his wife Holly, and two children, Payton and Cole.
Charlie Peacock and Andi Ashworth are the Co-Founders/Executive Directors of Art House America. Andi Ashworth is a writer (author of Real Love for Real Life: the Art and Work of Caring), gardener, cook, a lover of good books, and the key architect of the nurturing environment so characteristic of Art House hospitality. Charlie Peacock, an authority on Christianity and culture, enjoys an international reputation as an innovative and award-winning musician and author. Both Charlie and Andi have seminary training, Andi having received her MA in Theological Studies from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis, MO. The couple have two grown children, and two grandchildren, who have named them Honey and Papa.
