Art House Exchange: Art House Exchange is a monthly meeting at St. Johns Wood. For active creators and those living the artful life, it seems that there can never be too many opportunities for collaboration and discussion. It is often difficult to find a sounding board for an idea, or simply to find like minded people with whom to discuss what matters to you. Our hope is that the Art House Exchange will be a watering hole for many of you, both socially and spiritually.
Artful Living Series: The Artful Living Series is a new program within Art House Dallas created to gather the community together to hear from cultural leaders, be exposed to new ideas and challenge current methods of thinking. While many Art House Dallas programs are geared toward specific disciplines and vocations, the Artful Living Series provides an environment for broader discussion of cultural ideas and personal development with the goal of learning together how we can effectively contribute to the common good of our culture.

Dinner with Friends: There are few experiences better than connecting over a delicious meal with good conversation. Art House builds on this idea through featuring an expert speaker in his or her craft to equip artists both professionally and creatively. Space is always limited to no more than 25 guests in order to keep the environment conducive to conversation and questions. Past speakers have included experts in the areas of: Social Media, Music Management, Artist Development and Photography.
Feedback: Exposing our “works in progress” to the critique of our peers certainly takes courage, but feedback can also take our creative endeavors from average to excellent. Art House Dallas wants to provide an encouraging environment within a small group setting to explore your strengths and potential areas of growth as an artist. Groups are always limited to 5-7 and Art House will provide facilitators who have exhibited a track record of success in their art form.
Art House Local: In our desire to live holistically as the imago dei (Image of God), Art House Local provides a space (in your local community) to engage in discussion and be sharpened intellectually. Local gatherings facilitate an environment where artists come together to be built up spiritually with others who desire to not just talk about ideas, but to implement them and live them out in order to bring about a more just, truth infused, creative world. There are 7 Local groups that meet quarterly around the metroplex to exchange ideas about an Art House selected essay and connect at a deeper level with people who live or work nearby.
Stories & Songs: Each Stories & Songs features a well known musician or band. The idea behind this event is the integration and incorporation of excellent songwriting and storytelling, as well as to provide an opportunity to introduce people to the vision of Art House. Past S&S events have featured Derek Webb, Sara Groves, and Joy Williams.
Song Project: Hosted each year by Art House America co-founder, Charlie Peacock, Song Project is an Annual Saturday workshop with expert songwriters encouraging and equipping more novice songwriters to write stories that the whole world will listen to. How can we fully make music that tells the story of God at work in our lives, in our churches, our city, our nation, and our world? Our goal is to encourage and inspire writers with substantive and challenging material that they will be able to take back to their personal churches & communities and grow from in faithful ways.
